This is a really funny and enjoyable film.
Paul is about two geeky english tourists (Simon Pegg and Nick Frost) who are travelling around America in an RV seeing all the alien hotspots when suddenly they find an alien called Paul (Seth Rogen), Paul asks them to help him get back to his planet before the goverment find and kill him.
This is a really funny movie and has alot of action and no shortage of swearing if you like that sort of thing. This movie is well written and has an interesting cast such as Jane Lynch from glee and Sigourney Weaver from Avatar.

Four Lions
This is an unusual movie with quite a bit of black humour.
Four Lions is about 4 Middle Eastern Muslim men in England. They are would-be terrorists. Problem is they have no idea and are hopeless at their terrorist attempts. The film follows them through their underground meetings, bomb making experiments, middle eastern training camps and their attempts at suicide bombing. The movie is a black comedy. It makes you feel different things, like at times it was funny and times I felt a bit sad and paranoid.

Battle LA
Battle LA is a gripping film about an alien invasion. It has no shortage of special effects.
Battle LA is about a retired sargeant Michael Nantz(Aaron Eckhart) who gets called back in to duty when aliens start to fall out of the sky. As the aliens take over LA, he and two teams get sent into LA to retrieve people who have sent out a distress call. They have 3 hours to get out as the US Army are planning to nuke LA. The question is: will they get out in time and will they live to tell the story!!!
To be honest with you I went into the cinema with the thought of how terrible this movie could be. I came out of the cinema thinking the exact opposite, I really enjoyed this movie. Yeah its an alien movie but I enjoyed it and i would watch it on dvd.

Flying High
Flying High is a funny movie made in the 70's.
This movie is about a flight that has gone terribly wrong the food being poisoned, people getting killed from tragic stories and a girl with a heart problem.
This is a funny movie but the jokes are very literal. This movie has Leslie Neilson in it from The Naked Gun trilogy.It is not as good as the Naked Gun series, but his presence gives the movie a boost.

The Other Guys
This is one of those comedies that has its moments and good ones too.
The Other Guys is about two cops (Mark Whalberg & Will Ferrrel) who sit at their desks all day and don't do anything. When the big star cops (Dwayne Johnson & Samuel L. Jackson) die they decide to do an investigation and get back at the other cops who pick on them.
This is a funny comedy and has some really cool editing scenes, however i think its one of those movies where they ran low on money at the end and it doesn't finish with the bang it starts off with. If you like Will Ferrel or Mark Whalberg rent it out but if you don't I'd think twice. I mean its a good laugh but you might not dig it.

Kick Ass
This is a very weird movie but its still good in its own way.
Kick Ass is about a normal high school nerd (Aaron Johnson) who dreams of being a superhero. He soon becomes one and meets the real superheroes, Hit Girl and Big Daddy (Chloe Moretz and Nicholas Cage). Soon he gets in serious trouble with a big time gangster (Mark Strong). This is a very interesting movie because its that storyline that no one has thought about. I reckon (as i do) Christopher Mintz-Plasse did a good job in this movie, better then some of his other movies like Superbad and Role Models. He plays a more serious role in Kick Ass which was good to see. This movie also has its downs too. definitley one to rent out and take a look at.

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
This is a fantastic movie, maybe a bit out of date but that doesn't take a single thing away from the film itself!
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest is about a man named Randel(Jack Nicholson), who commits sveral crimes. He gets sent to a mental institute to be tested wether hes mental or not. When he figures if hes not mental he has to go to prison he decides to stay at the mental institute by being a bit wacko. As he stays he soon learns that the pations are completley cut off from the world, and he shows them life itself.
This is a brilliant movie, it shows the perspective of the mental pations.
It was a excellent performance by Jack Nicholson. This movie also makes you feel emotion,one minute you could be feeling happy the next, you could be feeling hate or sadness.But some scenes may put you off, depense whos watching!
